King Tide Estuary Charters is a small business based in Batemans Bay, owned and operated by Jordan, the friendly face you'll see on your guided fishing trip. Jordan has been fishing since he was a little kid catching mullet on bread. It didn't take long for his interest in fishing to become an obsession. With 20 years of fishing experience catching all of the usual South Coast estuary species, Jordan utilises the latest lures and equipment on his boat, a Skeeter ZX190. At King Tide Estuary Charters we practice a sustainable approach to our fishing, using catch and release methods to promote the viability of fish stocks for future generations of sport-fishers.
King Tide Estuary Charters operates from a 5.8 metre long Skeeter ZX190. The vessel fits up to two anglers, with your guide Jordan as the third.
The Skeeter is made for American bass fishing but has been adopted in Australia as a bream fishing weapon! With the Skeeter's low draft, it's easy to fish super shallow waters for big flathead.
Powered by a 150 horsepower Mercury Optimax and a 80lb Minn Kota Ulterra, the Skeeter is not only fast, it is also quiet when it needs to be. Additionally fitted with Garmin electronics to locate fish, there's an Echomap 95sv at the helm and a 125sv with Livescope at the bow (Livescope can be removed at request of the customer).
Half day charters are great for the fisher that wants to pack as much action as possible into a shorter morning session and then take that knowledge into their own fishing that same afternoon.
Full day charters are the ultimate South Coast fishing adventure. Having the full day allows you to fish for multiple different species in a variety of styles and lets you explore the entirety of the beautiful Clyde River.
Our custom charters are tailored to you. Whether you want to chase shallow water flathead on oversized lures or have giant black bream crunch a hardbody, this is the option for you. Custom charters can be tide and time dependent, so get in touch to organise your dream fishing trip today!
